Ingredients

Active ingredients

Streptococcus salivarius M18
is a natural, beneficial strain of a healthy oral microbiome. It displaces undesirable germs that are responsible, for example, for tooth decay and periodontal disease, thereby supporting the bacterial balance in the mouth. At the end of the best-before date, each PRObiom® Dental lozenge still demonstrably contains an effective amount of active Streptococcus salivarius M18 bacteria.
Natural peppermint flavour
in accordance with the EU Flavourings Regulation, ensures fresh breath.

Excipients

Isomalt
a tooth-friendly sugar substitute of no interest to bacteria in the oral cavity. Isomalt tastes similar to sugar but has only half the sweetening power.
Maltodextrin
a carbohydrate mixture obtained from starch. It serves as a carrier for the volatile peppermint flavour. Due to the small amount used, it is gentle on the teeth.
Trehalose
a natural double sugar (disaccharide) that helps the probiotic bacteria survive the dryness in the tablet.
Magnesium stearate
prevents the material from sticking in the tablet press.
Lactitol
a tooth-friendly sugar substitute.
Gum arabic
a natural, long-chain carbohydrate from the plant sap of the Verek acacia native to Africa. The resinous substance stabilises the peppermint flavour it contains.
